It was Juniper’s first day at a private college. She was excited. She’d had the tour and orientation, said goodbye to her relatives and settled in since her roommate seemed to have already done the same. She finally got a chance to be on her own. It was her first time away from her Christian upbringing and she felt good about it. She was laid on her bed, reading her daily devotional on her phone when she heard someone enter. She sat up and put the device down as she looked the girl over. She was really pretty. “Hi, I’m Juniper but everyone calls me June. And since you’re not wearing a badge or have one of those "den brother/sister” shirts on, I’m assuming you’re my roommate.”
